Do You Believe in Fate or Destiny ?

Do you beleive in Fate ?

do u believe that there r things u were destined to do ?

or we people do everything based on our own will only ?

well, i have always beleived that there r things that we r destined 2 do. on the other hand, we can do other things if we r willing only.

but now i am really confused coz sometimes i think that no matter how much i do, things go wrong and strange things happen 2 me that u can't call it anything but destiny.

What do u think ?

What I believe that we're destined to do:

1) Learn the possibility and impossibility that no man has gone before

2) Live life to the fullest by having a bright future for yourself like: having a career that you like, get married, and starting a family.

3) Life is full of wonders, we must cherish like it is our last days on this earth

Fate has not always been on my mind.. To be honest I don’t really understand it much. I always just think things happen just because they do although there are a few occurrences in my life when I believe fate was on my side.. For example I was once held up outside of where I worked.. I was waiting for the bus to arrive when a man came to my side and held a gun on me.. The bus was not scheduled to arrive for another 10 minutes but surprisingly it came early.. He tried to tell the bus driver to go away but I waved him down and hopped on.. When I think about I could have either been robbed or dead that day had the bus not arrived early.. That’s when I sometimes figure that it was fate that the driver was early.. So I guess yeah maybe I do belive in fate.

There are somethings you can't change. That means fate. Like you can't change the parents who gave birth you. But you can change your life like be a lawyer, doctor, etc. Sometime, something that'd appointed to become real could not change. Fate is what you did. For something you haven't done, may be that's from your former life. Like Ugly me! But I can change it in my life at now. As a buddhist, I believe in what I've done. If I kill the others without any heart, I'll be killed like that in one of my other life. We can't see the future, but we can predict. That's what I believe as fate.

its really hard to believe but as what many says it was destined to be done im really confused either. but then things happen unexpectedly i can say that because it also happen to me i met my special someone in time unexpectedly i can say that it's fate.

I believe in both fate and destiny.

fate because we get to choose how we want our life to become. you can always change your fate.

Destiny by the way you choose your fate. if you choose to go the wrong way. that would be your destiny and vice versa.

Fate is an outcome determined by an outside agency acting upon a person or entity; but with destiny the entity is participating in achieving an outcome that is directly related to itself. Participation happens wilfully.

No i don't believe in fate but i do believe in destiny because we can choose to follow any road in our lives.(EX: If i chose to dropout of highschool and end up being a beggar my fate would be to die of hunger But if i chose to continue my studies farther and become filthy rich my fate would be to die of a heart attack)

Of course I am! But I believe that whatever the result that we get, It depends on what we do prior to that..

hmm.. before i didn't believe in fate nor destiny.. but now, i think i'm starting to believe in destiny.. meeting my bf had changed that.. i believe i met him for a reason.. i think God has a reason for that.. we really complement each other.. i can do some things that he can't and he can do things i can't..
