one thing is for sure...this drama series is far better than the movie version...

even though i'm a song hye gyo fan, i still think this drama is better..ha ji won portrayed the role of Hwang Jin Yi better than song....

Wonderful story, excellent acting, beautiful scenery. I loved everything about Hwang Jin Yi. The only thing i can complain is that it made me cry my eyes out and got me hooked to the computer screen for many hours without leaving the room...

I should add that the soundtrack is awesome too. It is a nice mixture of western beats and eastern soul. I never get bored of listening to it.

This is a good show, though it kind of drags in the middle and the end. But the dragging doesn't affect the quality! Beautiful costumes and love story. This show got me into traditional korean clothing and court dancing

This was a really good drama, I think the drama wouldnt have been as good with a different actress. It was very touching
