This is my favorite thing to do with a pic if the subject is to pale in the skin.. Now that you have your extracted pic (if you used my first tut if not it’s still ok to use this tut) you might want to give them a healthy looking glow to their skin. So to do this first open your pic then on the layers menu right click the first layer (should be the only layer) and hit duplicate layer..
You should have 2 layers of the same pic now.. Next go to the menu bar and click Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur and put in these settings.
Then click ok and your pic will look really blurry that it might end up hurting your eyes but we’ll fix that.. Look at the layers menu and where you see a drop bar that says Normal click it and pick Soft Light or Overlay.. I like to use Overlay most of the time but you can pretty much use ANY of the options in the drop bar so play around with them if you like.
Once you have selected a style BAM your subject will look healthier then ever.
Normal
Overlay
SoftLight
Note:: For darker skin colors you might want to use Soft Light because with overlay it will just make them darker to the point where you really can’t see them.
