Storyline: Barbie Hsu from Meteor Garden and Taiwanese singer Show Luo (The Outsiders II) can be seen in Taiwan's promising new TV drama Corner With Love, regarded as the Chinese version of the hugely popular Korean title Full House. Affectionately called Big S and Little Pig by their fans, the two stars have no trouble passing as a couple in this highly anticipated romance series. Barbie Hsu stars as Xinlei, a rich Shanghai girl who has taken for granted all her fortune and happiness. Cook and amateur painter Chin Lang (Show Luo) is less lucky. He flies from Taipei to Shanghai for a publication project, but is left penniless in this foreign city. The two cross path in metropolitan Shanghai, and with the help of Xinlei, Chin Lang finally returns to Taipei. He expects never to see her again. But as fate would have it, she shows up at his door all of a sudden - and as if that is not surprising enough - to claim the ownership of his apartment!

Living a very happy life ever since she was small, living with her parents in Shanghai, she who is born into a rich family, has the innate ability which all princesses should posses: beauty! and more beauty! Of course, she also has a princess's personality: only knows the end but not the process/means, romantically naive and thinks that in this world there's only black or white sides, persistent about things and frank!

About the princess's inner and outer beauty, Xin Lei is incisive. Xin Lei who is like a greenhouse rose, often converses with herself, uses her [inexperiences] to read other people's ideas, standpoint, and actions. Therefore, this shining princess always comes up with conclusions and actions that shock people.

Xin Lei is sometimes ditzy, spoiled, but is no doubt very kind-hearted. if she sees any unfair situations, she will stand up to it. on the other hand, her pride is very high. and always shows others her confident side.

When her family fell into trouble, even though she became poor and helpless, she still keeps a very stubborn facade, which then results to funny and embarassing situations, but in her heart she clearly knows, she, Yu Xin Lei, no matter what situation she is in, walking under the sunshine, her head always held high, is a princess.


QIN LANG (Luo Zhi Xiang)
*Qin Lang's life is a journey to pursue his dream

They say a life of struggle can result in strong will/character, Qin Lang is an example. With his father missing, his mother dying early, leaving him living with his Grandma together. When other kids were reaching out their hands to their parents to buy toys, he was actually helping his grandma sell oyster cakes in the night market.

Qin Lang is [Gan Yong] <--sorry dunno how to translate this hehe! ^^ , so he is always deceived. But he still chooses to believe those who have deceived him, because in believing in others, oneself can be happy! Qin Lang is very [good-hearted] , sometimes when he makes grandma angry and chases him to beat him, he will intentionally run slowly, so that grandma can catch him and beat him up! Qin Lang is very optimistic, he believes [ When one works hard, there will definitely be good results!]

But what is this [working hard] that Qin Lang says? It all comes from the artistic talent Qin Lang got from his father, Qin Lang likes to draw, through illustrations and interaction with people admiring the illustrations, and also making people [qing lang] *happy through his illustrations/drawings! From then on, Qin Lang has found his purpose. But then Qin Lang's luck is not that good, he was deceived by a friend and landed in shanghai, his ticket and pocket money are all gone, as a result, he had to sell oyster cakes in shanghai to earn money to go home to taipei. In this difficult time, Qin Lang never imagined he would meet an unbeatable shining princess, from then on, Qin Lang's life changes drastically!

wow this sounds a lot like Full House and I will probably watch it. But it'd be nice if producers would stop taking ideas from each other.

I agree with WinterFrost. It's getting a little tiring with all these series being so similar to each other. Otherwise this series looks really good. I miss seeing Barbie on-screen. I'm not familiar with Show Luo but he seems handsome. I hope their chemistry is hot!!!
