Help with Paypal
I'm planning to make a Paypal account so I can get some stuff online. Do I just use my bank card to make a paypal? How safe is it? Can I delete my paypal account if I wish anytime? What are some cons using Paypal? Do they charge any fees when ordering stuff online?

Just some questions and I might ask more. If anyone can help me, that would be great! Dance

RE: Help with Paypal
lol, do you actually have to be over age though? Couple of my friends have one and they are same age as me.

Oh I just saw thewebsite just now, it's for 18 and over. Weird though since I know some people that have them that are not over 18. What if I did make one though.....will they find out I'm not over age?

RE: Help with Paypal
i think you can try using your parent's name or whoever's name(first ask permission from them!) cause for me, i made a ebay account using my sis's name(already ask for perm.) so yea. i think you could try a fake but im not really sure(sorry dont really know how to give advice)

RE: Help with Paypal
Yea I probably can get my parents name with their permission. My brother is of age so I could ask him too. I didn't really want to try and fake it though since they might find out.

RE: Help with Paypal
I don't think anything would happen to you if they found out you were underage. I used to do websites and stuff, and a lot of my online friends who were underaged had paypal and they used it to raise money for their domains or selling their layouts and whatnot. Well, they say they're only like 15 and they could be lying, but I think that many people under 18 still use paypal though.

Yes, many many people use it regardless of the age requirement. I'm sure even if they did catch me, they would do nothing. They can't keep track of every member since there are millions of users.

RE: Help with Paypal
I'm under 18 and I am still able to use paypal, so I think it's fine for you. Paypal is really safe, I have been using it for a year and I didn't lose any money. Hmm if you use bank card to transfer money then it will usually take really long, for me it take like 8 days or more. I think buying stuff online don't charge you, but if ur buying stuff from other currency they charge you the transition fee. Also if you want to withdraw ur money, you have to pay a small fee unless you withraw more than 150 dollar.

RE: Help with Paypal
yep it takes a long time, so put money in ahead of time, so when you want something then you can buy it right away!
