my brother and sisters makes fun of me because i'm getting older and not trying to have a serious relationship and get married. Majority of the people who i graduated with are married with a kid and more.

"hey, i maybe getting older but i still need to self fish b/c when i do meet Mr. Right, i won't regret not having fun."

Maybe it's because i'm a girl....so what do you call a guy who is getting older and seriously dating??? NOTHING-b/c it doesn't exist in English!

What do you think?

ehh, well I'm not sure how old you are, but lots of people marry when they get older so its not really a big deal. Still, my suggestion is to meet someone to settle down with.

lol, i'm not that old, i'm only 23. i'm just annoyed by everyone asking me when i'm going to get married....rude huh?

WHAT?!!?! 23 is not old at all and so what if you're not married. If those people that got married don't have a steady job or had a unplanned child or are financially unsteady, then it's not a good idea to get married. I think an ideal age to get married is late 20's and early 30's because at that time, you would be out of school and would have a steady job with security.

Don't fret! At 23, your still young. People don't get married early nowadays, and its not a big deal! Wouldn't you rather wait for the right guy rather than marrying some guy you won't have a good relationship with?

23 is not considered an old maid. People are getting married in their 40's right now - they want a career first before settling down. Not a bad idea.

ohhhhh man......im 22 dident know i was an old maid-but i know exactly how you feel my friends are constantly bothering me about not haveing a..........mate?significant other?yes i want to have fun but i am a very logical person and right now i havent met anyone i want to "settle down"with i figure when the time comes that will be good enough for me till then i dont care what they say.........^^ diapers cost alot of money look at how much im saveing

if you want to wait and better yourself before marrying then its fine with yourself. if they keep asking you then i guess they ain't got nobody or they ain't happy with their marriage.
