Janice Concert Tickets Expensive, Netizens Boycott It
Janice will have her first concert at the HK Coliseum in March. The most expensive ticket is priced at HK$480 which netizens attacked it for being too expensive. Because of it, someone plans to boycott it!
Entering the showbiz for just two years, Janice is already strongly supported by Leon. Having good results at the recent awards ceremonies, it's no wonder her record company is investing a lot on her concert of four shows to be held at the HK Coliseum. The ticket prices are at HK$480, HK$380, HK$180, and HK$80, but the prices caused attacks from netizens. Yesterday, a netizen referred to Jacky Cheung's most expensive concert ticket only sold for HK$400 back then, but Janice is fixed at HK$480. The price is apparently too high. Because tickets are too expensive, a netizen decides to boycott it, but there are fans who expressed liking Janice. No matter how expensive, they'll go buy tickets to support her.
As a call into question by netizens, journalists contacted Janice's record company executive Alvin Wang to inquire. He emphasized that there are only 1,000 high-priced tickets, "Usually, HK$400 tickets are rows 1-20, but ours are only rows 1-10. The others are at HK$380 which is more worth it. Fans are actually talking about the numbers but not talking about comparing with others. (Afraid it'll affect the sales making Janice unhappy?) No!"
