Which video card should i buy??

good thing i found this thread...

which one do you think is better: geforce 8600gt or 7900gs?? my budget is around $160. i need that asap. my current 6600gt is just suddenly died... i dont know what happened. first my comp hang, and then after restart, nothing appear in the monitor. it work as usuall into the windows, but nothing appear in the monitor. just as the card isn't there. anybody knows?

i would get the geforce 8600gt its faster and is only around $130 rt now

get the Nvdia 8 series for future use coz they support Directx10!. so atleast buy the 8600GTS(DDR3) or add $40-$60 to get 8800GTS(320MB).

Either way I would definitely go with perfomance because once you start to lagg your gonna most likely be issed at the memory one
