The Omega (which means the end)
read the whole part of it please...i just wanted to share the story i wrote about a girl who was left in this world during judgement day or the second coming of Jesus Christ. And here it is:
The Omega
The sun beamed in through my bedroom window, lighting up my face and the earsplitting sound of my alarm clock awakened me one Sunday morning. I stretched out my hand to reach for the clock, which was placed on the wooden bedside table, to stop its irritating buzz. Then I grabbed my flabby pillow that I’ve dropped on the floor to cover my face from the striking light of the sun. I tried to go back to sleep but, as predicted, my mom suddenly burst from the door and forced me to get up from my bed to prepare myself for the Sunday service. ‘Candy, get up now! Take a bath and eat your breakfast. The service will start in an hour. I want you to be in church before the pastor starts preaching.’ My mom roared.
‘Mom, can you excuse me from going to church. I’m not feeling well.’ I lied.
I could not look at my mom’s face. I wanted to tell her to leave my room yet she is my mother and I had been taught to respect my parents. She observed me for a minute then asked me, ‘Why do you always claim to be sick every Sunday? Let me see then.’ She walked towards me and placed the back of her hand on my neck. ‘You don’t have a fever; you don’t look like you’re sick. So, don’t find any excuses, you have to go to church. ‘
My parents went ahead to church and they left me since I wasn’t finished eating my breakfast yet. After I took my breakfast, I hurriedly went to church carrying my aged-old Bible which was previously owned by my late grandmother. When I arrived in the church, the singing of the choir was almost finished. And all of them were already settled in their chairs. So just near the door, I quietly settled myself as well on an old wooden chair engraved with religious icons on its back support. Then right after the choir, the pastor began his sermon. ‘The end is yet to come; repent now while you still have time.’ the pastor preached heartily. Upon hearing what he had just said, I knew then that he was about to discuss the rupture again. So I mockingly shout at the back of my mind, ‘Oh yeah, I’ve heard that a lot of times pastor! Don’t you have anything else to preach there in front?’
The pastor opened his Bible in the book of Matthew 24: 27 and he instructed us to open our Bibles too. ‘It says, ‘For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.’
‘Oh, the second coming…I already knew ‘bout it.’ I boasted to myself.
The pastor was preaching his heart out as if he could never preach again while I fell half asleep on my chair. And suddenly I heard a loud bang that brought me back into full consciousness. I opened my half-closed eyes to find out where the booming sound came and I was dumbfounded to see that they were all gone except me. I run outside the church to look for them but they are nowhere to be found. And I remembered what the pastor said that during the second coming all the believers will be gone in a blink of an eye.
I was totally horrified. The world was being punished and everywhere I look there was chaos. I also saw the beast with seven heads and ten horns and on his horns ten crowns, and on his head a blasphemous name. This monstrous creature was like a leopard; his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. Then the beast was given power by a dragon. And all of the people who already had the mark of the beast on their forehead worshipped him. Then, I remembered this is exactly what I’ve read in the Bible two weeks ago. ‘Oh no, It can’t be happening! I denied to myself. Then an abrupt idea of praying came into my mind, ‘Lord, please forgive me and rescue me!’ As I fervently say my prayers they all suddenly stopped worshipping and looked in my direction. Their eyes were red and they stared at me with terror. ‘He doesn’t have the mark of our lord!’ squealed the fat man loudly. And, an intensified feeling of terror rushed into my nerves making my whole body numb and cold. Then I heard their master commanding his followers, ‘Get her and give her my mark!
‘Get her! Get her!’ his followers muttered these words monotonously and repeatedly that they sounded like robots.
‘There’s no way that I’ll accept that mark!’ I told myself. So, I ran determinately to get away from his cronies and be saved from getting the mark of the beast. As I ran, I reached the lake were I was baptized. It used to be a cerulean lake but I’ve noticed, its waters have become thick with mud and dead fishes were floating on the surface. I paused for a while to reminisce what exactly happened that day when I was baptized, and then the beasts’ followers came into sight again. So I ran but this time, I doubled my speed that they won’t be able to catch me. Unfortunately, while I was running, I tripped off my feet and the people who were with the beast caught me. I fainted in fear and became unaware of everything. Then, suddenly I heard an alarm. I wondered where it came from. It was very familiar- that deafening alarm. And there was a light that struck my face. I immediately woke up and got up from my bed. And then, I faced the mirror to see if I already had the mark of the beast and I made the biggest smile for there was none. ‘It was just a dream,’ I told myself. In delight, I knelt down to pray to God to ask for forgiveness and to thank him for making me realize how I’ve been doing as a Christian.
After I’ve just finished praying, my mom suddenly burst into my bedroom door and her face glowed with surprise to see me already awake early that Sunday morning. ‘Oh! You’re already up. It’s good that I don’t have to drag you out of your bed.’ She paused to smile. ’You take a shower now, eat your breakfast and we’ll go to the church together.’ My mom said in a joyful tone. I did not say a word but instead I just smiled back at her then she went out of my room and after which, I prepared myself for the Sunday mass.

Suppose if Jesus will come anytime today or death will come to you now, are you sure that you're going to heaven or will you be cast down in the lake of fire with the sinners and be forever tormented?
We’ll if you're not yet sure of your eternal salvation, God has already prepared it for us and made it so easy for us to have. All you have to do is ACCEPT in yourself that you're a sinner. As it was written in Romans 3:10, "there is none righteous, no, not one." And in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.: Even I, myself, is not exempted of being a sinner but because of God's mercy and grace he cleansed me from all unrighteousness. So, what now if you're a sinner? …Hey, don’t you know that the prize of sin is DEATH? It was written in Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.”
So then, BELIEVE that Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary to pay for our sins. He sacrificed himself; He shed His blood to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, even if He is SINLESS. He took our place on the cross to make salvation available to us in the easiest way. That is the will of God. John 3:16 says, “For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." What a perfect love God has for us.
Now, if you've accepted that you're a sinner and believed that Jesus Christ died on the cross for us...CALL now upon his name through a prayer and ask forgiveness and accept Jesus Christ wholeheartedly as your Lord and personal savior. Jesus Christ said in "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes unto the Father except through Me." Also, in Acts 16:31, it was written, "So they said, 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." Those verses I have cited shows the fact that we cannot save ourselves form the lake of fire. Not even our good works. For it is also written in the book of Ephesians 2:8-9 that for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
To those who wants to have eternal salvation, say this short prayer and mean it: My most gracious and Heavenly Father, I accept that I am a sinner and I ask Your forgiveness for all the things that I have done which are not pleasing into your sight. Lord God, thank you for sending your son Jesus that because of him taking our place on the cross of Calvary salvation was made available for us. But I know, o Lord, that I couldn’t guarantee eternal salvation for myself with my own efforts so I call upon you Lord to please come into my heart and in my life as my Lord and personal Savior and save me from the sins of the world. Make me a change person now that I have accepted you in my life. Thank you for everything Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
