As a child, Wendy (Chingmy Yau) was hexed by an evil Indonesian witch, leaving her with both telekinetic and pyrokinetic abilities and with lousy control over both, especially when she gets upset or aroused. After accidentally burning her family to death, she moves in with her only unsinged relative, Big Beer (Deanie Yip). She rooms with the all-around horrible Tracy (Carol Cheng Yu-ling) and her nebbish brother Charles Siu (played by director Lawrence Cheng Tan-shui) who eventually falls for the beautiful though freakish lass. Locked in a sibling deathmatch, Charles and Tracy try to cajole and manipulate Wendy to their advantage, with predictably disastrous results.
