**2011 APAHM Visionary Conference on May 26th in New York**

Hey guys!
In order to celebrate the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) and the contribution Asian communities have done to our society, Verizon Wireless is going to hold a APAHM Visionary Conference featuring in Asian American visionaries like Jenny Shimizu (Fashion), Suchin Pak (News), Teddy Zee (Entertainment), Cung Le (Sports) sharing their ideas and visions on May 26th in New York city. And the host of the whole conference will be Christine Gambito, who is the famous Youtube comedian known as "Happyslip".

Furthermore, Verizon Wireless is also holding a "APA Visionaries Video Contest" which will begin April 29th and end May 20th. Any interested applicants living in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut) can take part in the contest by submitting a video introducing their visionary idea, explaining how they will use the support of Verizon Wireless and the cash prize to bring their idea to life and why it is important for the Asian American community. The top three videos will be chosen based on a popularity vote on the Verizon Wireless APAHM Facebook page and the grand prize winner will be determined by the conference speakers on the day of the conference.
**The prize is $5,000 with other prizes!!
