RE: are you a fob?
Oh yea xD I'm a fob. Now thinking back, I'm quite proud of it. I came to the US when I was 10. Lots of things happened... Back then, it was pretty hard for me to assimilate. I was often picked on by other kids cuz of the different habits that I had, ie: dress-code. But I've gotta say, I tried pretty hard for the best. Over the years, I learned to balance different cliques of people to hangout with. While I hungout with new people, I also kept the fob connections. Yeah, I used to do things that would be considered wierd, but I learned from them.
I won't say that I'm not fobby now, but I certainly do things like what anyone in my age would. I can tell you I dress normally. I speak Mandarin at home. When I'm out, I speak unaccented English. Trust me, you can't tell whether I was an immigrant or not.
I just wanna make a statement to some of you folks. Stop hating, man. It's already hard for fobs to adapt a new culture in a new environment, the last thing they'll need is for you to make fun of them. Aight, payce xD
