Long distance relationship
A long distance relationship is hard to do, but it is quickly becoming a more common type of relationship for a number of reasons. Between meeting people online, internet dating sites, job relocations, college, military jobs, and so many more reasons, people are going through the long distance relationship routine and some might have a bit of trouble going through them. A lot of reasons a long distance relationship may not work primarily and you may have to do a quick save relationship move stem from the fact that a lot of communication and a lot of trust have to go into these sorts of relationships. If you don’t have trust, there is nothing and you may not want to save relationship, whether you have a long distance relationship or a normal one.

RE: Long distance relationship
To have long a distance relationship, you need to have tons of patience. Long-distance relationships teach you a whole lot of things you don't often get the chance to learn in a short-distance relationship. Need to discipline your emotions if you want succeed in your love life. They teach you about yourself, particularly about your approach to long-term fidelity and what loving someone without regular physicality means and they give you a great emotional escape place.

RE: Long distance relationship
I am currently in a long distance relationship and it's been that way for several years. What I know from my own experience is that patience and trust (as the other posters have stated) are two of the most important things to have. There also needs to be a lot of communication, to make the relationship as comfortable as possible, even with the amount of distance. Whenever there is something I worry about, I let him know right away because keeping it inside will only lead to distrust and misunderstandings. Always be honest about your feelings, even if you're upset that he/she is far away.
