Sad Inappropriate pictures?
Hi my friends!

I am a teacher's assistant in some classes at my local school. Today, one of them drew a very graphic image of oral sex on his whiteboard and began taking pictures of the drawing with his phone during class.

As is popular in possibly many schools around the world, cell phone usage is prohibited during school hours while the teacher personally has requested students not to draw on the whiteboard.

I am wondering what the best way to handle this is for in the future. Since it was graphic, I'm a bit at a loss. Usually students just scribble out weird doodles that are not harmful in any way. This time around, I merely asked him to erase the board before the teacher saw his picture. If I see a similar thing happen again, how should I react?

Thanks for taking the time to read/respond:]

RE: Inappropriate pictures?
Regardless if he would not do it again, I'd still report it because it isn't appropriate for people to see those things in public. Especially if it is in an elementary/middle school, it might give other kids the wrong message thinking that sex at a really young age is okay. With in reality, it isn't.

He's a lucky boy to have gotten away with it, but what does that tell us? He can still do it again and not learn his lesson.

oh bummer. Teenage on hormones rise. Telling the teacher would be the best options. Since they're adults, they should know how to handle the kid in a more appropriate manner ( HOPEFULLY!)

RE: Inappropriate pictures?
Being an assistant myself, if the student does it again,I'd give him a second warning and report him to the teacher. This is unacceptable and you have to make it very clear! I remember in our last year of highschool, there was a teacher who never reported the girls when they went overboard (like talking too much, we didn't do anything really bad) because he wanted to please them. You know what? they had absolutely no respect for him and even insulted him to his face. It hurts to think about it but if you're in an authority position, you have to make it clear.

Life is too short to be pissed off all the time

RE: Inappropriate pictures?
Hi all!

Sorry for the late reply, I've been a bit busy.

After I read your posts, I finally decided to let the teacher know. I didn't name anyone or describe in much detail, but I let her know that it'd happened once and that it could happen again. Thank you all for your wisdom!! :]

Sorry to hear that but don't let this bother you especially when at this age guys hormones are like Rabbits in Heat.Even if you do report it he will simply stop for the time being, think of way to get around it,then simply do the same thing in the future just in a different format.Either way good luck
