Well, I've been wondering about this for a while; right now, as I'm typing, I'm looking at the back of my hands. It's pretty flat. I mean, it's not like my friends'. They have veins that show on their hands and arms. Mine look like I never worked in my entire life. I've been doing push-ups but I see no improvement.
So how do your hands and arms look? How do hands and arms of people around you look?

I can see my veins,and i also have a small scar on the back of my hands

well i can see my veins but their not that flat
i also have a scar on my wrist
my arms well i got a lot of scars and cuts....dont ask.....i dont even know why i have them.

Do you want veins popping out of your skin? Isn't that a bit weird? Though I do have veins popping out...

Hehe well actually in middle school I thought the same thing, and so did the other boys so we were always showing it off... I would do push-ups too before school to pop them out...

Well, Rondillo, I'm a girl but in my country, girls also have at least a few veins. I am not looking for the tree-roots look!! Oh no!! But to me, it seems strange that my arms and hands never changed. I have a friend who does absolutely nothing at her house and she has them. I used to help a lot but... nothing.

Oh haha! Then don't worry about it! I think it's prettier for a girl if they don't have veins anyways, though I never thought about it before... I guess in my country, we don't worry about the amount of veins in a girl's hands xD

slim and long; you can also see the uhm.. tendons? whatever they may be. going to my fingers. no veins visible that i can see.. unless i look REALLY hard @_@

Yeah, I can see my tendons too when I try to bend my fingers backwards!

there's one reason why I'd like them a show a little; when the nurses have to set up the serum/ take some blood, they wouldn't have to actually search for the veins. It's kind of a pain when they can't find them and they are "trying" everywhere to give me a shot. Urgh!

Which country are you from? Cos it sounds weird to me that girls wants to have veins shows on their hand....

I'm Haitian and yes, often, women have a few veins showing. i don't mean huge, proeminent things but you can see a few veins. Their hands are usually small but with some lines on the back. Men, on the contrary, often have big hands and veins on their arms. It looks kind of nice on them!
That's another part; the size. Now I find that funny but I used to train in a martial discipline and I had all possible pains when I had to seize a guy's arm; I would need to stretch my fingers to only see the #$@#$@#$^@#$ arm slip out because I couldn't get a good grip!!! and after class, my friends would make fun of me, asking me what was the use of such hands!!!

I don't want big veins; I would just like to have some more definition on my hands; if I leave them limp, not even the tendons show; it looks kind of weird (at least in my eye!!!)...
