Poll: Asian dramas vs western dramas

LOL I noticed I was the only one voting Westen. If you meant like in general, I do like Western more. Asian dramas are kinda the same with me. All love stories and all and some action ones. Western, I like Heroes, Prison Break, and Fringe. They keep me like so on my toes and wanting to know more. Asian dramas are more laid back for me. They don't surprise me too much as I know what's coming most of the time. Asian dramas have their positives and negatives and so do Western.

If you meant Love dramas, I choose Asian.

i prefer asian dramas...i feel like i can get addicted to them more...american dramas are ok, they do have good moments at times, but i still think asian dramas are better...my mom and i noticed things that in asian dramas, many of the time, they have things u get out of it, like u learn something at the end...my dad doesnt think tat, so he thinks tat i am watching way too much and that they are not good, even though he watches too!

seriously though i think asian movies rock and im not being bias coz im aussie yet i love asian drama's western drama's are so lame and get boring after a while whereas asian drama's are like exciting and they give you an ending whereas western drama's drag on for years and still dnt give you anything!

I don't really like western dramas seeing as they are so dull @_@
Not just that, but their soundtracks suck hardcore.
I usually just watch Asian dramas seeing as I can understand things better, plus the soundtrack is better.
..Most importantly because it doesn't seem like a low budget show.

I think that Asian dramas can easily capture and portray emotions.They don't do on for years on the most part although there are a few long running ones. I have a short attention span so this is better for me.It does not hurt that many Idols appear in Asian dramas too and don't do a bad job either. I do like the western crime shows CSI, LAW AND ORDER etc...though and many Sci-Fi series.
