Who's Your Favorite Manga-ka?

I love Yuu Watase too!!!
And Matsuri Hino!!! =) I LOVE VAMPIRE KNIGHT. It's so awesomee!

Hiroaki Samura, author of both art and plot of Blade of the Immortal. There are others, but I think Samura is the most talented of them all: good plot, great, detailed art. Few but strong and beautiful female characters. Don't know if he's my favourite, but he's the best.

I also like Mihona Fujii a lot, too I love the cleanliness and detail of her art, and she can get really funny.

Urgh! I forgot him! The great! The God! Osamu Tezuka.

I know Tezuka has a very simple drawing, but when you read his adult mangas you just forget. His manga for children I don't like, but the adult stuff such as Buddha, Ayako and others is great. The best thing he's done is his stuff about Japanese history. I don't like his futuristic series, but his series about Japan (the realistic ones) are great.

am.. isn't hard to say xD Yuu Watase for shoujo and Kaori Yuki. i agree with mad_hatter ^^ Yuki is the black to the white Yuu. Actually, everything that i read i finally fall in love with xD

my most favorite manga is bitter virgin.. daisuke the main character in this story is much like me in true person...and also the girl aiwa in this manga looks like my FORMER REAL-LIFE crush...hehe

Personally, I LOVE Yuu Watase and Kaori Yuki.

Yuu Watase's shojo manga is usually fairly simplistic almost to the point of being predictable now, especially in the "love riangle" department...
But that doesn't really bother me because the plot lines are always interesting.

Kaori Yuki is just amazing.
I can't think of anything else to say about her.
Where Watase is simple, Yuki is complex, in depth, and completely submersive. Though, this attention to detail can be a little over-whelmign sometimes. That's when its time to take a breather and read some Watase manga.
