Recommendations?

I'm becoming increasingly interested in Japanese dramas and movies, but i've only seen a couple of them. What ones would you recommend for a J-drama/movie newb?

Boku Wa Imouto Ni Koi No Suru (ah~i hope that's the correct title)

Movie:

I haven't watched many Japanese series/movies myself but I've watch quite a few.

If you like movies that makes you cry bucket of tears, I would recommend One Litre of Tears.

Dramas: Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend), Hana Kimi (there a Taiwanese version of it also), Honey and Clover and Gokusen 1-2-3

Anime: Ashiteruze Baby, Perfect Girl Evolution, Itazura na Kiss, Hikaru no Go, Naruto, and Bleach

try artificial beauty its a j-drama a romantic comedy series its fun to watch and im sure you'll love it.

try "Nodame Cantabile", it kinda funny and you will especially like it if you're into classical music..also try "proposal daikusen".

got interested with j-drama because of Aya Ueto and have also watched seversl of it. you might also want to check it out.

EDIT: So i watched the "1 Litre Of Tears: Special" today, and I cried my eyes out at so many parts. I'll start watching actual drama tomorrow. Thanks for the wonderful recommendation!!
