here in cagayan de oro city we have a different way of speaking gay lingo. and it is rooted iN our vernacular which is Visayan. more or less we have almost the same rule like adding suffixes to the word and we also adopt some of the words using the name of a celebrity but we are more on reciprocating the word-
example-
lakaw [walk] - wakal
thAT is the basic, but to make it mre colorful we add suffixes.
common used suffixes are:
+juh
+sang,
+ay,etc.
example:
pangit [ugly] - juhTINGAPsang
amigo [friend] - juhAMIGOsang
lakaw [walk] - wakalay
...
we also make use of the CH's and SH's which widely used.
