RE: Prefer subbed or dubbed?
Very rarely do you find good dubbing. I believe FMA, Cowboy Bebop, Fruits Basket, and Bleach are along the lines of acceptable dubbing for me. The only thing I don't like about subbed anime is when the female Japanese voices get really high pitched---makes my ears bleed. Other than that, I have no problems with subs.

subbed, i cannot stand the voice overs because the voices dont even seem fitting for the character.. well thats my 2 cents on it at least

RE: Prefer subbed or dubbed?
Some dubs are really good in my opinion such as DBZ, FMA, Bebop, and heck even Yu Yu Hakusho. One Piece was horrible, even if I had heard the dub first then the japanese, I still woulda considered the dub horrible. Naruto is alright for the most part, I was playing Clash of Ninja 2 and the voices are actually pretty cool although Sasuke sometimes reminds me of Batman.

Anyways, it would be awkward for kids and thier parents to see japanese songs and shows in japanese language, the only benefit is that they would learn how to read. In any case, they tend to Americanize somethings such as One Piece's rap opening. Rap is listened to a majority part of this culture and not in Japan. Another thing is that it gets people jobs to do these voices, it makes the entertainment economy studio work. Think about it, if no anime's were dubbed, there might be people who would have not gotten famous or not have gotten money for speaking a character.

Basically, most of the dubs are alright, some are horrible such as One Piece. I actually found the DBZ dub voices better then then Subs. It's how the world works, deal with it.

RE: Prefer subbed or dubbed?
I prefer SUbs in most animes, but dubs in animes like Dragonball Z Pokemon full metal alchemist Onegai Teacher, the voice actors are great and in character Wink

I prefer subbed, dubbed sounds so not good. Hearing the japanese sounds a lot better.

RE: Prefer subbed or dubbed?
sub is the best. dubbing is really bad since its not always correct with what they're saying.
