I thought the art and everything was pretty good and I think Hayao Miyazaki did very well to create this world of magic. But since this was based of a book, and since I read the book first, i was somewhat disappointed. If you guys want a good book to read read Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones.

Howl's Moving Castle is amongst the top favourite anime of mine! I wish Mayazaki wasn't retired and continues producing such profound works! If only...lol...However, I don't think anything can top Spirited Away though....although I don't like Spirited Away in a sense, since he just left us at a "suspend," making me wonder if Haku and Chihiro would meet again...lol

This was a really good anime. I liked it a lot. But it's also true that if you read the book it's kinda disappointing. The book was really really good.

That's such a cute movie!! I squeeled every couple of seconds during that! XD There's just to many cute things >.< I'm trying to get my big sister to watch it now, since it's so good. I love Miyazaki's work, and the voicing was actually pretty good. I was also excited when I heard Crispin Freeman's voice (favorite voice actor in the world)! <3

I loved the Howl's Moving Castle movie! Chickenhearts

It was so AWESOME! I loved the drawing style, and the story was really good too. But, I haven't read the book, so I can't say I was disappointed in it, or anything like that. I want to read the book, though! My friend is reading the book, and she likes it a lot and told me that the book is very different from the movie, so...

its a great movie, though i admit, i did like some of Miyazaki's other works better (like Spirited Away). I can't wait for Earthsea to come out!

i think if spirited away haku n chihiro can be together like howl's moving castle it might be better
