Inglorious Bastards (2009)

I saw this and it was somewhat similar to The Last Samurai siince most Germans did not speak perfect english but rather broken during WWII

That's why Saving Private Ryan did so good since they kept it authentic by having Germans speaking their own language and not english using American actors

When I saw this movie I tried not to let the Germans speaking perfect English bother me, and just enjoy the wish fulfillment of Jewish people, who were victims for so long, get to fight back. It's a bit too much blood and guts for me but not a horrible film. Obviously not accurate but oh well.

The only reason I went to see this movie is because I'am a WW2 fanatic.In terms of actual events it was way off
