i agree that music is important. most of the music that i listen to are from drama series/anime. dont know what i'd listen to if there were none- it'd make the show very dull

Agreed, otherwise it would negver have the same effect on the show at all.
However it is mostly important on horror films/shows since it pretty much adds up to the scary factor of the show/film.
It also applies to games. x.x
can't play a game if it has no sounds. ._.
