What kind of wedding your people do?

for us hmong we have to pay $5,800 for a bride and the wedding take up two days one night to talk and one day to do the wedding at the bride's house and a day at the groom's house and the bride get three days off not doin any work. during the wedding the groom have to bow or kneel down to the bride's family or relatives when i was watchin my cousin's weddin i was like dang i bet he's goin to fall before noon since it was so tiring and the groom also gets to drink beer too.

So how's all the other culture like?

here in the philippines we dont have to pay the bride, the parents of the groom will have to talk to the bride's family and if they agree, then thats it, the wedding plans will start...

i agree to what genmercz statement: " we dont have to pay the bride''. but then when you sas wedding surely it very costly considering all the preparations they have and their needs...

but here in the Philippines we have this superticions like as follows:

Wedding Superstition Trivia

1. It is bad luck for the bride to be seen by the groom trying on her wedding dress at any time before the wedding.

2. It is bad luck for the groom to see the bride the night before the wedding ceremony.

3. On the wedding day, light showers are considered lucky as they will bring material blessings to the union.

4. Typhoons bring bad luck should it come on the wedding day. A sunny day means a life full of married bliss.
