in your opinion, some girls wants but some girls share

My female friend always insists on paying half or alternating pay times. I don't always allow her because its just my guy intuition telling me its bad to let a girl pay for you ^_^ But then she gets whiny and I let her lol. If you're on a date, you better pay though, because that is how traditional dates go. Even though the times are changing, it should still be guys pay for girls.

Whoever asks for a date, that's the one who should pay... social ethics says so... lol... so if a guy asks you for a date, the guy pays and vice versa... but sometimes girls want to exude their powers... lol... so they pay even if it's the guy who asks for the date... during such times, girls forgot that when they exert independence they might be trampling with the guys feeling/ego...

but usually when it's only a friendly date (I give a stress on the "friendly"), me and my guy friend(s) chipped in for the food and drinks plus the entertainment and fare or fuel...

I'm a romantic. I would want the guy to pay when we are on the date. It just shows that the man is a take charge person.

Obviously guys have to pay. The guy is trying to get acquainted to you and it would be disrespectful if he didn't, unless the guy is like dumb and too cheap (freaking buddy of mine... 4 Shame). It would be weird if the girl paid, s**t if I was there and I was on a date, it would be downright awkward

i prefer sharing, though, even your in this relationship and yes the guy should tke care of you this doesn't mean that in terms of payment guy should pay all the time the girl should contribute as well.

i tink guys shud always pay for a gal on their first date, but the gal shud automatically return the favour by treating the guy on their second date =D

As a girl, in my opinion it’s a must for a guy to pay especially if you’re still courting her.
But as the time passed and the relationship grew, it’s ok to share the bill. Sharing is also a sign that you both really love and understand each others needs and situation.

In a relationship give and take is a must, like trust.

Guy shd initiate to pay, this will leave a good image to the gal....
On the other hand, gal shd insist to share or to pay if she knows the guy is weak financially........
