Report from CNN Asia: Edison Chen's Interview

In an interview with CNN's Talk Asia, Edison Chen classified that the sex photos of him with his strings of starlets in compromising positions were taken with the women's full consent.



"Everything was mutual. It was all consensual," he said in the interview.

"If I have a camera in front of your face and theres a flash, do you know that I'm taking a photo of you? That's as simple as it is."

Within the interview, he apologized to Cecilia Cheung who criticized Chen for not apologizing to her earlier. "I wasnt allowed to talk to her in the initial because of the police request and they were investigating me, which already had troubled me a lot... I really do feel sorry. I really am sorry to her."

Further along, Chen described the misery and the pain he had to endure over the past year.

"I was afraid to go anywhere. I was travelling around when I was still in Hong Kong in trunks of taxis, literally, just to get to places," he told CNN.

"I had to be in the trunk for 15 minutes. I didnt even know if I had enough oxygen to be honest with you."

"Even when I had left Asia and I had went to Canada and America, it took me three months to really get out of the shell that I had put myself in. I mean, I was in darkness for five days," he added.

"I had my drapes closed and I didnt even want to go anywhere."

Edison Chen did a really good job staying calm and answering the questions well within the interview...the interviewer does seem like she was gonna lash out at him at some point in the interview...lol

I'm glad he's back to being himself again and apologize to Cececila...hopefully he can go back to the entertainment industry with a fresh start like Gillian

Yeah he's really calm and answered the questions pretty well and maturely too... I really do hope he can finally move on and be back to doing what is best for him... and hands up to his girl! Very brave and strong!
