It has come to a verdict and it isn't looking good for Rain.

A federal court jury in Honolulu found Rain guilty of fraud for canceling a Hawaii concert in 2007 and orders him to pay nearly $8.7 million USD in damages.

The jury found Rain personally liable for more than $3 million USD and his then management company, JYP Entertainment, responsible for most of the rest.

Honolulu attorney Eric Seitz, who represented Click Entertainment said, "He's a very talented young man and I'm sorry he got caught up in this."

Attorneys for Rain and his managers left the courthouse without speaking to reporters.

oh wow! they should've just JYP pay the damages. after all they were responsible for him at that time.... too bad for rain though! doesn't he ave other cases pending in the US?

Nah, this add in total of damages even for the other states' lawsuit...so yeah...sucks to be blamed for something he didn't have control over...

I heard he had to foreclose his house/apartment because he's going bankrupt... I don't know if there's any truth to this though. My korean friend is just telling me this and I don't know where he got that from...

Really?!? That's sad... well, for such a talented man, he can rise up again and gain back what he had lost and more... but being bankrupt means the talents under his company like Lee Da Hae and others will be affected Sad

I hope the best for him...

But surely his company should be dealing with this, why target Rain directly? >.< this has nothing to do with his personal life! poor guy Sad
