You know, a perfect example of how the second child is always shorter is from Mario and Luigi. Mario is the older brother, and Luigi is the younger brother. But yet Luigi is taller than Mario XD
I think the oldest is usually shorter. From my family and like relatives, I've found that too be very very true.

I'm the youngest and I am the shortest... next my eldest sister then another sister and the tallest is my big brother, literally big!!! 
it's like looking at your fingers... my eldest sister will be the forefinger, my brother's the middle finger, my 2nd sister will be the ring finger and I am little pinkie!!! and we're born in that order too!!!
hahah, that's such a creative thought. :D

i have seen this a lot. especially among my cousins and stuff. the 2nd kid is always taller than the eldest for some reason. the same wit my family. my older brother is about 5'6 and im 6'1.

i have seen this a lot. especially among my cousins and stuff. the 2nd kid is always taller than the eldest for some reason. the same wit my family. my older brother is about 5'6 and im 6'1.
in our family the second is taller than the first and the third is pretty darn close to the first. I'M SO CLOSE

That's interesting. Most people I know have older sibling are usually shorter. I guess you are right about that gene thing.

hmm i think genetics and the things you eat plays a big role in how ur growth spur develop Im the youngest in my family but i am also the biggest i outgrow my brother by 2 inches so pretty much eat a alot of food protein and calcium then you ll grow bigger .

sometimes its true.. sometimes it isn't. i find that we tend to always look for trends in genes. but its not always true. like my brothers.. the middle is tallest.. the oldest and youngest is same height. it varies.. depends what you eat and what you do. because if you workout.. i mean like.. if you are a body builder.. it stunts your growth... and also if you are a coffee lover. and if you drink lots of milk, you grow... a lot bigger. lol. soo.. height varies.
