I think it would be much harder to install disk space on a laptop. If it was an external harddrive it would be easier.

yeah im gonna have to agree with EyezChinky, the most simple solution to installing a bigger harddrive is to purchase and external one, they aren't too expensive these days, and you could probably find a good deal on a 100 gb drive or so.

If you are very knowledgable of hardware installation of the laptop, then you can order the hard drive online and assemble it yourself. If not, it is a much wiser choice to purchase a external hard drive instead. Why? If you were to buy a laptop hard drive and not know about hardware installation, you must consult to a specialist, which in turns, cost a bit of extra money. Therefore, it is more preferable to purchase an external hard drive.

To add onto what XeroXtancy said...

If you screw up your computer screen or internal hardwares and have that one new harddrive inside, it may affect your warranty.

Highly recommended is an external harddrive. Sure they may be big but smaller external harddrives that hold a tremendous amount of memory are available as well but they cost a lot.

Woah I don't know aquat about computers but I know that you can get an external hardrive for more space. They are getting cheaper these days and so much space. You could do it yourself and actually put it in the laptop by buying a hardrive but not recomended really. It's actually pretty complicated but if you know computers and you built some before, you can try.

i would recommend just buying a new laptop with a bigger hard drive. Then again, i don't know that much about laptops' hard drive.

You should buy external hard drives during the holiday season because they got crazy sales going on. I got a 60 gb hard drive for $20 during black friday so check out sales online. You should always think about the best deals.
