Princess Hours
This was one of the first Korean dramas that I've ever seen actually spoken in Korean.

I thought that overall it was a good chick-flick series, though it wouldn't be for those who like to see action or martial arts. It was a really cute movie particularly because it's like cinderella.

So the overall layout of the drama is that Korea has a monarchy like the one in England, with Prince Charles, William, and Harry (which ironically is mentioned in the drama). Here, a common girl (Caijin) has been promised in marriage to the crown prince (Xin) due to a close friendship between their grandparents. Here, I don't want to give away the whole movie (and I don't want to have to type all of it), but you can right off the bat tell that there will be some tenseness in here because she isn't used to living in the palace and the palace isn't used to having an energetic, free-spirited girl there.

And the situation is made more complicated by 2 ongoing loving triangles in which the prince likes another girl and also that another guy (another prince, actually) likes Caijin.

As to my opinion about the series, I loved it especially in the beginning when Caijin is really cute and knows absolutely nothing about what's going on. Even though her airheadedness and carelessness can get annoying, it's what really made me like the drama because it had a light atmosphere about it. When stuff began to get serious in the middle to end of the series, I found myself more and more screaming at the TV because the guys and she were getting so annoying because no one wanted to resolve anything and people kept keeping secrets and allowing each other to get manipulated.

Besides the hotness of the princes, my favorite characters were Caijin and the prince's grandmother because she was just so cute!

For the girls, this is a definite must-see movie because you're gonna love it; if not just for the hot guys, you have to see it because it is a real romantic comedy; more comedy than romance overall, but the romantic parts just make you want to melt.

For the guys, while you may be less inclined to watch it because it's a chick flick, as I said before, it's a real comedy, so you'll appreciate much of the humor in it. And plus, you can take a leaf or two from the books of these princes. Some of the moments can give you something to think about the next time you see your girlfriend or potential one at least =D

I've heard that there will be a Goong 2 coming next year, not the Goong S (which isn't really Goong), but really the continuation of the story of Goong. Anyone knows anything about this?
