Pre marital sex is fine. Nothing too wrong with that. Of course, it'd be nice to wait til your married, but sometimes, when your caught up in a moment, or if you really love someone and feel as if you're really comfortable to take that step, then all the power to you.

I think I'm probably going to wait til I'm married. It's part of my whole... er I don't know what to call it... but I guess I want to set a good example for my children and other children... Til then, I'll probably just pat the girl I'm dating on the head for now

Aww rondillo, that's really sweet. I think waiting til I'm married is a good choice too and I hope that that will be the case for me, but I'm not going to limit myself to it. Sometimes things just happen and it's hard to control I guess. The last line you wrote about made me smile : )

actually, it has been inculcated to me that sex should be done after marriage for this is the best gift you could offer to your husband. im againts to it. and i agree to rondillo's opinion we should be model to our children.

Ha ha ha ha, "pat the girl I'm dating on the head". Oh my goodness, i'm sure the girl will feel so "appreciated", ha ha ha. It is better not to pat anything, to stick to your values. I mean you pat kids and pets on the head, not a woman you are attracted to, it would be insulting. Just tell her you are waiting, honesty is the best policy and let her decide how to show affection that won't interfere with your premartial sex issues.

I grew up in a Christian house hold and had planned to wait until I was married. I didn’t make it until marriage, but looking back I wish I did. I can’t cry over spilt milk as they say. I am not a promiscuous woman and I believe in monogamy, in fact now I am more conservative and suspicious of intimacy. I have no preconceived notions of earth shattering, toe curling orgasm or sexual encounters. I know sex is messy, unorganized, unrehearsed and over way too soon, hahaha. I am a Christian that sinned as we all do, but now that I know better I intend to do better and if that means waiting, I guess I will be waiting. Men have this idea that a virgin is untouched and pure, the quintessential ideal. Then they complain because their sweet virgin doesn’t know how to stir the passion. I don’t consider myself “used goods”, more like an aged fine wine waiting for my cork to be popped. (hahaha) But that is me, I still tell other girls and women to wait only because what works for me might not work for someone else. I spent my first time with a guy I thought I loved and was comfortable with, but the whole time we were doing the deed I was thinking I want to play Nintendo so hurry up. I wouldn’t wish that experience on my worst enemy. When I finally made love with my true love, my soul mate the only thing on my mind was him. Forget sparks, there was a raging fire, that should have been my first time experience, not Super Mario Brothers.

I do not think it is morally offensive or bad or anything. Personally, I want to wait after marriage (heh isn't that what they all say? xD). It's just sort of the way I think I guess. My view on sex is more like "Alright I love you enough to be willing to take it to the next step - beyond kissing and stuff"

Though in this day and age...having sex TO SOME/IN SOME AREAS is like status. If you're like married at age 27 and you've waited until after marriage and stuck to it, what does that say about you?
I'm generalizing and do not mean to offend, but for some cases being a virgin at a later age means you kind of suck with the opposite sex, and to some people it's a true belief. But I can't think of anyone I know that would think like this, however it is an option.

Haven't approve of that, I think because I'm a Christian and even if not I still won't, cause I wanted to be unblemished/virgin when I faced the Lord during my marriage. (Hey I'm not a saint that just I want).

"Unblemished virgin"? That does not exist unless the unblemished virgin is an infant or toddler. One can be a virgin and be blemished with a corrupt mind. Lust corrupts, just thinking about sexual acts blemishes a "virgin". In my opinion being physically pure is the extent of virginity, the mind and spirit are separate. I think when I was a virgin (God forgive me), I had thoughts way into the sleazy side. After I got married I put those thoughts into action. Unfortunately my hubby passed away 2 years ago and I have abstained (putting the lid on my sexual Pandora's box). I was married at 20 and widowed at 29. Believe me the word unblemished is inaccurate in reference to “virgin”, it is better to say untouched. Besides, I’m a Christian and I struggle with the Bible verses found in I Corinthians 7:8-9, which involves burning and I don’t want to burn. Yet I wonder if I want to marry again. I got issues, so many issues…
