RE: Ordering food at a restaurant or store
I was too busy to learn some Korean phrases before my departure to Seoul. So when I was there, friends always ordered for me. When they're not around, that's when I get into an adventure!

So I walked into a restaurant where the lady in charge couldn't understand me. So I just pointed at the meal a man inside was eating. 'Turns out it's a clam soup with soft tofu. Tastes good! What's the name of that dish? Smile

Thank you!

rice cakes = ttak (떡)
then you just need to follow Lance's formula...
