I have a friend thats like this. Lonely. I feel badly for her but she wont help herself. Shes way overweight, doesnt wear makeup. Wont fix her hair. Won't try to lose weight. Her family doesn't even try to reach out to her. Shes not young either and has never had a boyfriend. I went by her house once and she had eaten near about a whole large pizza by herself then complain how she can't get a boyfriend. I've done things with her but then its like she won't let me breathe. If I talk to someone else she gets all pouty face. I've tried talking to her about loosing some weight, joining some singles club ( I am married ) but it goes in one ear out the other. Its like she wants me to do it all for her and I cant. Im at my wits end because my husband is now complainning about her. If she comes here we end up telling her its time to go home or she'll stay all day and night. And really Im the only friend she has.

there are family members and friends... or even hobbies that can keep loneliness at bay. I think the best method is to realize that one can still be happy when they are alone.

loneliness is like slow poison. I am lonely from my childhood. No one understand me and love me. I fall in with someone but she like someone other. I often think about relations . Just want to suggest one thing , never never leave the person who love you heartily.

They basically find it very hard to connect with others and experiences emancipation from meaningful. It can also provide a sense of belonging that comes with being part of a group.

Just get out there and do something. Just going to a social event or function. Talk to random people and tell them they are pretty, attractive. Don't think about it. Just do it, sometimes it sparks a conversation. If not you've made someone else happy. In turn making you a little happier.
Besides you must have some friends you can be with?
