If you are interested in a position as a language teacher, please reply in this thread about your level of interest. There are very few requirements as we are pretty desperate to get some teachers and people who are fluent in languages to be active in our forums.

All who get accepted will be super moderators. You'll get some great perks such as being able to see behind the scenes at Amped Asia - we are working on some cool new features coming soon, being able to receive future benefits as a staff member of Amped Asia, and getting to be an authority figure at Amped Asia forums.

What we will require from our hired staff is that they help users learn the language by posting answers to questions. Posting up lessons on certain topics (ex - Ordering Food in a Restaurant), sharing resources, sharing downloads that can help, translation, etc.

Please answer the following question in your application.

Good luck with this section Lance. Wish I could teach a language, but unfortunately I am not fluent enough. Ocassionally I can stop in and probably help some users though.

hey Lance, I have a question regarding downloadables for the languages section... AA has a rule wherein a member can access the download section only if s/he posted the required 15 minimum number of posts... would the languages section have this rule on it's downloadables?

Yes there will probably be a rule over this. I will think about it later.

I think I could be a teacher for Chinese, since I have 17 years of speaking it xD
I came to the United States 6 years ago, but I still talk to my parents in Chinese so I haven't lost it. I'm fluent in speaking, but writing is another thing since I have not taken any classes to reinforce my knowledge of the language.
