Title: 내사랑 못난이 \ My Lovely Fool

Synopsis

This story is about a woman Cha-Yeon who grows up in an orphanage with her friend Ho-Tae. She got pregnant when she was working overseas at a beach resort but the father of the child didn't came back for her after promising he would. She had no choice but to ask Ho-Tae for help by telling people that the son belongs to him without getting married.

The son Duri is sickly since birth and becomes terminally ill…. Cha-Yeon tries all ways and means to earn money to save her son. Finally, Cha-Yeon agrees to marry the rich Dong-Ju who uses Cha-Yeon to create a scandal, so that his wife Seung-Hye would divorce him.  

After the divorce, Seung-Hye begins to fall for Ho-Tae who is a irresponsible, happy go lucky but a very kind hearted person.

Things get further complicated when a female star named Yoo-Kyeong is attracted to Dong-Ju for his wealth and status. Yoo-Kyeung tries many despicable ways to break up Dong-Ju's marriage with Seung-Hye then Cha-Yeon. Dong-Ju on the other hand begins to fall for Cha-Yeon whom he married on contract just to get out of his marriage to Seung-Hye.

As things gets more and more complicated, we see alot of emotional scenes in which the Cha-Yeon tries very hard to protect her son Duri as Dong-Ju never knew about her son. When finally Dong-Ju is willing to accept Duri to be his son, Cha-Yeon found herself trapped between Dong-Ju and Ho-Tae; Ho-Tae has been there for her since forever...

My Views:

This is one of my least favourite korean drama serial. I find it too draggy, too complicated with too many relationships involved. Although it is a good ending for thre leading actor and actress. I find the ending somewhat a little absurd... If I would to give it a rating, it would be 60%. At least, I still can watch to the last episode.
