Synopsis

Shan Cai,whose parents are far from wealthy, attends Ying De University, the private school established exclusively for rich students. Besides being looked down by rich classmates, she has angered the leader of F4, Dao Ming Si. F4 comprises of Dao Ming Si, Hua Ze Lei, Xi Men, and Mei Zuo, who are the heirs to the four richest families. Their families are the founder of the school and nobody dares to cross them. Shan Cai isn't afraid to stand up to DMS, an act that nobody has done before, and sparks Dao Ming Si's interest in her. However, his constant torture of her has made her miserable while she falls in love with the gentle Hua Ze Lei, who comes to her rescue. Can Dao Ming Si win her love despite his cold and cruel exterior? What happens when his mother decides to use every trick there is to keep them apart? Can they adjust to each other's differences due to their vastly incompatible social status?

My opinion:

who will never forget this series? this series is the best series ive seen in chinese entertainment, i may say im one of the million people who loves this series. This drama is widely overrated for its stereotypical hate-turns-to-love plot. its quite ordinary to look at but somehow like a fairy tale love story like cinderela but in modern version and only the difference is that there is no wicked stepmother and stepsisters. Instead, there is a very complicated and confusing relationship between the female and male leads. As the story unfolds and the love triangles tangle, a story of love, hate, sorrow, comedy, and passion takes over the audiences' emotions. this series is really worth watching and whoever did not watch this, huh! he/she misses her/his half life.... lol.

I really didn't like it. I mean yeah the version I watched the audio wasn't that great, but still I don't like things being dragged out. I prefer my Hana Yori Dango (Japanese) over this. Just my opinion though.

this is a first taiwan drama i watch..i realy love this story especially ah shi and san chai..there realy cute couple..from that time,taiwan drama become my favorite channel..hehehe..

I loved this series-it's the best of Taiwanese had to offer up to date!I also much enjoyed the Japanese version, can't wait to see the Korean's-
To me each version has its own national flavor & ethnocentricity.
I hope maybe the Vietnamese & Thai will have their "Meteor Garden " someday! who knows the American might join in to make their own one day! Hollywood certinly is running out of idea!
