A month after its release in the Chinese mainland, Ang Lee's award-winning film "Lust, Caution" has been a permanent subject of debate for its explicit sexual content- or lack of it - and for its political undertones.

Containing bold sex scenes, the Venice Film Festival's Golden Lion winner for Best Picture had to be cut by seven sexually explicit minutes to satisfy China's censors.

We bought the movie recently and my parents told me to watch it with them, but after reading several reviews, I decided it would be completely embarrassing to watch it with them. I hear its good.. but sometimes too many sex scenes are excessive and awkward. I have yet to watch it.. because.. of the sex scenes.

i got so many mix reviews... at first i wasn't interested in watching. my parents got the cut version and my mom said she was confused... then her friend watched the uncut version and she was such a prude... all teh time she kept saying "it's porn. it's porn. it's just porn" i kept laughing... so now i want to watch.
my friend got it because of lee hom and tony leung... so we're waiting for when we can get together and have a movie night... so curious.
