recently,i watched dis jdrama about a game..its called a "Liar Games"..i get attracted after i read the synopsis..never tot there r such a game like this..for me,its a gud drama..since u hv to used your head to think who's cheating n whose gonna be cheat and have to bear all the debt in the game..its cool to see the lead actor who played akiyama..bcoz of him i kept watching the series..hehe..but,the thing is,i am really annoyed by Kanzaki Nao played by Toda Erika character's..hate it bcoz she is sooooo damn honest n easily bullied and being cheated by the other players..hate to see it..huhu..poor her always being cheated in the game..but overall, this is a good series to watch..
Synopsis
Based on the manga series of the same name, Toda Erika plays an honest college student, Kanzaki Nao, who receives a hundred million yen one day, along with a card saying she has been chosen to take part in the “Liar Game”. The aim of the game is to trick the other players out of their hundred million dollars. At the end, the winner gets the hundred million and the loser is a hundred million yen in debt. The next day, she receives notification that her opponent is her former teacher, Fujisawa Kazuo. She goes to him, seeking help, but ends up getting tricked into handing her money over. Desperate, she approaches the police for help, but they are unable to do anything. However, she is told of a mastermind swindler, Akiyama Shinichi, who is to be released from jail the next day. Desperate, she goes to him for help…

RE: Liar Games...
Review of Liar Game:
I give this drama series 93% rating. I think the actor, Shota Matsuda, really played his part well as Akiyama, the genius swindler. Although I couldn't say the same thing for Erika Toda. Then again, it's pretty hard to pretend to be a super dumb person, which Kanzaki Nao is - an incredibly naive and easy-to-fool person.
Despite its dumb protagonist, this is a one-of-a-kind mind-games type of drama that makes it exciting to watch (on this I agree with reaker850327).
I really dig the second game, where the minority rules, for once. Akiyama is right, in every game, chance does not play a role. Everything can be won or lost depending on how good the player is at psychology and reading the minds of the other players. I found this jdorama incredibly exciting. The only loophole in it was that it needed Kanzaki Nao to be stupidly naive for all the games to be shown. But over-all, it's a must-watch!
