Lee Jun Ki announced his images in Iljimae for the first time

Lee Jun Ki announced his images and the trailer in the new ancient drama Iljimae on his website, last January 20 for the first time. He also said that he will do his best for this character.

In Iljimae, Lee Jun Ki will appeared as the robber's image in Chosun dynasty who dressed in the black costume. The picture of his sharp eyes and his hand with the pilots will going to have a lot of impressions to the viewers.

Iljimae has 24 chapters and was original Chinese novel "Happy enemy". The novel was then arrived into North Korea and then appeared in literature of the North Korean.

On the 20 century, the famous artist Go Woo Young created comic book and named it as Iljimae. And so Iljimae became familiar to the different level people in different societies. The Iljimae character was actually the robber and usually stealed the properties of the rich people and gave them to the poor. Iljamae was one of the three famous robbers in the North Korean's Dynasty.

It was like the story of Robinhood.

Isn't his character gonna be somewhat similar to Hong Gil Dong, which is currently being aired?
And I read somewhere that there will be two versions of Iljimae in Korea, one has Lee Jun Ki, and the other has a singer (I forget his name, sorry) in it. So, 2 Korean media companies are rivals here! That sounds quite interesting :-)
I believe with Jun Ki's acting, this drama will be awesome!! Go, go, Jun Ki! :x
