Lee Hom Wang is awesome. I really like his raps, and his Cantonese songs are good too.

Personally, I'm not really surprised that he got nominated into the Grammies...
I mean, he got like a lot of talent from singing to composing, etc.
Not to mention, he knows a variety of languages...

Leehom Wang is Sick, Eason Chan Fools Around

Two nights ago entertainers of both the mainland and the island performed at the "Keep Walking - Johnnie Walker" concert in The Shanghai Grand Stage. Superstars WANG LI HONG (Leehom Wang), CHAN YIK SUN (Eason Chan), ZHANG SHAO HAN (Angela Chang), WU KE QUN (Kenji Wu), YANG SHEN, contestants of "My Hero!", etc. all pulled through a wonderful performance. That night, Leehom Wang and Eason Chan gained the most attention and applause from the audience. It was not until after the concert ended when the media discovered that Leehom Wang performed while being sick.

That night, The Shanghai Grand Stage held over 10,000 people. The six contestants of "My Hero!" not only performed their song, "Nian Qing De Zhan Chang" (The Young War), they also did a model show. After that, Kenji Wu and Yang Shen came out to perform, respectively. Yang Shen also sang two new songs, but the audience did not seem that enthusiastic about it. Yang Shen even said, "No one has quite heard the new songs yet." Eason Chan then appeared and the audience went crazy. He also pulled in his first performance with the piano as his live accompaniment, and sang "Shi Nian." (Ten Years) Leehom Wang was the last to perform. Onstage he sang hit songs, "Long De Chuan Ren" (Descendants of the Dragon), "Gai Shi Ying Xiong" (Heroes of Earth), etc. and without a doubt, Leehom was definitely the highest mark of the night.

After the concert, one by one the stars appeared to receive their media interview. Only Leehom Wang did not show up. The organizers explained that Leehom had been sick for quite a while and after his dedicated performance on stage he felt worse, and therefore was unavailable to receive any media interviews. Eason Chan, on the other hand, did his usual clowning around during his interview. He first appeared to the media walking slowly, explaining that he needed to walk slowly so the reporters could take better pictures of him. Afterwards when the media asked questions concerning what TSE TING FUNG's (Nicholas Tse) was doing lately, Eason's face immediately turned stern and said seriously, "Right now he's addicted on an online computer game. No one could find him. Therefore I want to say to everyone, if any of his fans meet him online, please tell him, 'Stop it. It's enough. You're going to be a dad soon.' "

Leehom Films Advert, Loyal to the Original

Recently WANG LI HONG (Leehom Wang) has been appearing in many commercials. However after this week Leehom will fly to America to prepare for his next album. His new album is slated for an early July release.

Leehom's newest commercial is of a drinking product. In the original advert Leehom was suppose to be in front of the piano, trying to grasp some inspiration. However after Leehom saw the script he requested if he could change the piano to a computer-generated keyboard because in reality Leehom uses that to compose music. He insisted that he wanted his fans to see the image that is closest to himself. Therefore the advert has changed to Leehom sitting on a chair with the computer-generated keyboard.

Leehom is very careful about everything. After filming each scene he would review each expression and gesture he displayed on the camera with the director and the crew. With just one little scene of Leehom running into the recording studio with a new composition, he would not mind if he would have to run 5 to 6 more times. The simple 20 second commercial took Leehom's whole working day.

Spending a whole half year filming a new movie, Leehom's fans in Taiwan has been waiting impatiently for his next album. Recently he is busy recording for his new album and in the past few days he was in Hong Kong and Shanghai for some commercial filming. Next week he will fly to America to prepare for his next album. The long awaited new album will be released around late June, early July.
