unfortunately, Korean dramas usually don't let the secondary character win the girl... ever. Like in Autumn Fairy Tale I wanted Won Bin to get the girl sooo bad, but since he's not the main character he doesn't get her.

I think it's cuz there would be people that are more pissed off about Gong-chan not getting the girl, and it would go against the whole series if the two main characters don't end up together, that would be just wrong.

although i'm touch by LJK love for LDH in "my girl", LDW is still my choice coz like LDH, he caught my eyes 1st. it's only in "goong" i prefer the 2nd lead, really dislike the main lead...(sorry to ji hoon fans)

I think it's the case for almost all dramas.  But in one Filipino drama, the tv network made two versions in the drama's final episode, one for the lead actor and the other one for the secondary character because of the requests of fans of these actors wanting to have the girl for their idol as an ending.
