Lee Dong Gun enlisted into army

Lee Dong Gun will be enlisted into the South Korean Army in July for 22 months. He has tried several attempts in the past to enlist himself, but finally their has been an approval of his enlistment.

Lee gained his recognition in 2004 from his brilliant performance on the Korean drama series, Lovers in Paris.

Lee's talent management company has arranged for him to bid his fans goodbye at an event in Seoul on July 18. At the event, Lee will be socializing with his fans and thanking them for their support. He is expected to be back in the entertainment industry in May 2011.
