it's pretty hard to choose since kdramas are different from jdorama. if you want to laugh them jdorama would be perfect. they sometimes employ drama to their stories which have "impossible" tendencies. Like Yukan Club--its episodes are self-contained. You can watch any episode without missing the storyline.

Kdramas, on the other hand, are basically melodramatic and rather typical. They always start with humor but they always end in tears. But my friends and I have the consensus that jdoramas always have open endings which may or may not satisfy viewers while kdramas have cheesy, corny or beautiful endings which are basically "closed endings".

i prefer korean drama.japanese drama's line stories are quite slow and boring.but recently there a lot of great japanese dramas like hanazakari no kimitachi e and my boss my hero

i like korean series better since i'm more familiar with the actors/actresses. i like their story plots too compared to japanese series.

I am going to go with Japanese drama. It just has such a deep cultural background, and it is the Japanese, how cool are they??? No offence intended to any Koreans reading this.
