Warning: Due to the sexual content being presented, caution is advised.
Jun Jin of the Korean group, Shinwa was hit with a bad news recently for his music video, "Wa" from all major networks in Korea.
The Korean Censorship Board said that the music video showed too much sexual contents that it must be blocked to viewers age 19 and lower.
Popular television network such as: SBS, MBC, and KBS are banned from playing the video.
JF Entertainment said, "The banning of the video will put a hamper to our promotional plans. This was Jun Jin's first album after more than 10 years in the business, and there was a lot of preparation and hard work for his debut. We tried to warn him about the sexual scenes and potential ramifications but he was so hard headed about the whole thing. He said that removing those scenes wouldn't convey the song's meaning properly."
For his music video, "Wa"
::UPDATE::
Jun Jin, who had recently taken a blow from the major Korean television networks. During the live performance of his new solo album single, "Wa".
RE: Jun Jin's Music Video Banned From Korea Network
ive always wanted to see jun jin's latest performance really.for now, i just dont know what to say after seeing that picture presented. i can still see him anyway in his other performances.
RE: Jun Jin's Music Video Banned From Korea Network
I have to watch the MV twice coz I can't see that part shown in the pic!!! Is it just me or that MV is the edited version?
Anyways, since I didn't see that risque part in the MV, I don't see anything vulgar about it that needs banning. It just shows sexual desires which is also seen in a lot of Western videos *remembering George Michael and Robbie Williams videos* lol... Maybe there's also something in the lyrics... I need English subs!!!
Oh I remember one of Chae Yeon's MVs is banned coz she showed her bare back and did a lap dance... so I guess the censorship in South Korea is pretty strict!
RE: Jun Jin's Music Video Banned From Korea Network
4jpz, the picture and MV are not relevant to the same setting.
I mean the picture is from a live performance and to know he popped a "boner" for everyone to see....its just embarassing! >.>
The lyrics of the song "Wa" is said to be related to sexual content which is why it is banned from Korea television networks. I should find a version with English subtitles, if I can.
RE: Jun Jin's Music Video Banned From Korea Network
What?!?! That boner was from a live performance? uh-oh!!! I didn't read the news properly... lol
With such a public setting, how can he have one?!?! Either he's truly horny or it's pure gimmickry idk... Kind embarassing...
edit:
Oh this is in line with that part in the "Sex and the City" wherein there's a side shot of Samantha's French boyfriend and he had a boner... It was removed from the movie, the version shown in Philippine movie theaters, that is... I need to find the American release of the movie! lol
RE: Jun Jin's Music Video Banned From Korea Network
ROFLMAO!
I feel bad for Jun Jin seeing this was his debut song for his self-titled album. Now that his debut song, "Wa" MV is banned from Korean network and now with the "boner" to be implicated into the live performance.

Am I the only one who does not see anything wrong with the video? But then again I am from the states in which these types of music videos are commonly produced. I guess Korea will always be a conservative country no matter how modern.
The woody photo xD omg that is hilarious! Those girls must have been rubbing him a bit to rough for that to happen.. Let this be a reminder for all men to always wear briefs when doing things like this. They saved me many embarrassing moments during my puberty years.

That's just it Krazoom. He's not in his puberty years anymore. He's supposed to have sown all those wild oats already! lol... He'll be 28, well that's not too old but not too young that he can still be horny like an experienced teen! rofl
... and yep there's too many of such MVs in US. I can still remember George Michael's Freeek MV... wah! that was one video that tackles your hidden whatever! rofl
RE: Jun Jin's Music Video Banned From Korea Network
I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and say that I'm still not convinced it's an actual woody though.. Maybe there is something in his pockets and it propped up making it look like one.. I just can't believe someone can actually pitch a tent in right in the middle of a live show xD This is gonna keep me laughing for days though..
Wow 4jpz you're going old school LOL! Lets keep it a little more modern here and say the Justin Timberlake "Cry Me a River" video or Nelly's disgusting video "Tip Drill" which only played late nights on BET.
