On April 26, The Seoul Narcotic Drug Investigation Unit has revealed to the reporters that actor, Joo Ji Hoon, has admitted to drug use after being charged with suspicion of taking drugs. Joo had confessed that he had bought the drugs (Ecstasy and Ketamine) from a fellow celebrity.

The arrest for drug use also included two non-celebrities, but all three suspects were not jailed. The two traffickers involved are actor Yoo Seol Hee and model Ye Hak Young. It has been known that the two were smuggling drugs from Japan since 2007.

Yoon Seol-hee has confessed more names of the individuals who have bought drugs from her and it seems that 7 to 8 of those names are other celebrities. As the police are still investigating this event, more details will be revealed later.

Joo Ji- Hoon is most famously known for his role as Crown Prince Lee Shin in the famous series Goong/Princess Hours back in 2006. Later works followed by playing the lead in movies like Antique Bakery and Naked Kitchen. It is still uncertain what will become of his upcoming drama Tokyo Tower.

Hey ellechar7 you didn't include the trafficking bit... You know the one wherein they concealed the drugs on their clothes when they're traveling from Japan.... Anyways, JJH is doomed!!! I mean taking drugs is one thing but drug trafficking is another! You are putting lives on death's door by providing them the means to access it. (Just drug use) And he's supposed to be role model being a famous celeb and all This is a major downer for his career and it's booming now with two movies down and a musical in the offing... I bet the musical will be pulled off now seeing that he's busted!

I wonder who are these 7-8 celebs coz reports said they're pretty popular too like JJH!

Wow they're some damn snitches!! That wouldn't ride in my neck of the woods oh no sir.. Poor JJH at least it wasn't crack.. I mean it's not like X is a good drug but hell its a lot less damaging (considering how often you take it) then crack.

oh, i forgot to mention the girl was concealing the drugs in her underwear. i didn't think JJH was also arrested for trafficking. thanks for mentioning it though. The girl and the guy (can't recall their names) were the ones arrested for trafficking and JJH (and 3 other) was arrested for drug use (if i remember correctly). it's a sad news indeed because his career was actually going somwhere... here's an update regarding the scandal.

You're right ellechar7... I got confused for a while! lol... it's just Yoon and Yeh who are into trafficking but JJH is for drug use... oh well! His career is doomed either way! Korean netizens are ruthless and merciless, esp those antis!

Guess what where the drugs where concealed? I thought it was in the lining of clothes but nooooo!!! To pass the customs, Yoon inserted the drugs in a sanitary napkin, you know menstrual pad!!! Eww! Well, she has another set of undies coz the undies with pad/drugs are worn over the other one! It's still eww! and they sold it and someone sniffed it! lol

oh my! There's an update about his starring role in Tokyo Tower: JJH has been dropped from the Tokyo Tower remake... and JJH was supposed to have a fanmeeting in Japan on his birthday (May 15 and 16) and it's now canceled. Whoa! Extreme birthday!!!
