Jay Chou Promotes "Pandamen"

Jay Chou, director of the upcoming television series "Pandamen", shares his inspirations at a press conference in Beijing on February 16, 2009.

America has seen its own superheroes like Batman and Spiderman, Chou believes China lacks it own superheroes which is why he created the pandamen.

"We have seen such Western superheroes as Spiderman and Batman," said Chou, "but Chinese people need their own heroes, and that will be the pandamen."

"Pandamen" is about two future superheroes in the year 2030 who fight to protect the city they live in.

A rendering of the superpanda unveiled at the press conference shows a human-like panda wearing tight, leather suit and a red scarf resembling the cape of Superman.

Hahaha! trust Jay Chou to come up with such unique idea XD Jay Chou is finally gonna direct a drama! He's moving quite fast haha, first his music, then his movie now onto a drama series, in less than 2 years X_X
