Kiss itazura na kiss
Itazura na Kiss
[Image: 320px-Itazura_na_kiss.jpg]

synopsis:
Late for a meeting, Kotoko was running along the corridor in school and bumped into Naoki, their lips meeting. Naoki showed his disgust, but Kotoko started to idolise him, who was good at everything from studies to sports. When Kotoko's house burned down, her father's good friend Machiko invited them to move in with her family. It was then that Kotoko realised Naoki was the elder son of Machiko, who took up the role of a fairy-godmother to bring the two together...despite the fact that Naoki was disgusted. Not discouraged, the clumsy and not-so-bright Kotoko started to do everything that would change her impression on him. Gradually, the icy-cold Naoki who disliked girls started to feel for Kotoko... (thanks to DramaWiki)

cast:
Akashi Ryotaro, Aoki Shinsuke, Hoshino Aki, Kashiwabara Takashi, Miyauchi Tomomi, Sato Aiko, Tohyama Toshiya

total episodes: 9

airing: 1996-Oct-14 to 1996-Dec-16

personal opinion: I really liked that seriese. full with laugh and a lot of family maters. we encounter with this kind of boys / girls everyday (at list I do). Personally, I sympathize with Kotoko...
the acting is nice and Sato Aiko plays Kotoko in a fine and very funny way. She really knows how to laugh about her big ears!
too bad it`s only 9 episodes!!!
in my opinion, that show deserves 9/10!

RE: itazura na kiss
thanks for the review and your thoughts. Maybe i'll like the series too. i already downloaded it lol, juat haven't watched it yet. >.< but chea i was kinda hesitating to get it or not lol, cause chea the actors aren't very goodlooking like Joe and Ariel from the taiwanese version lol (not trying to sound mean or anything....>.<). but i was still curious to see the japanese version of it started with a kiss, so i thought i get it lol =]. So many of the mangas are made in a taiwanese and a japanese version! lol. but then i like watching both versions to compare the two =] haha. but chea thanks agen for the summary and your thoughts!

Me too! I do think it's the best drama I've ever seen besides other old J-drama called GTO! For me, it is 9.5/10! Even though it's waaaay too old and kinda out-of-date, but it's still the best! The casts were all great. The story goes well along the way. The only problem with this version is just all the "oldies athmosphere" there, but the other things are: PURRRFECT! ^^ Nothing can replace it, even the new taiwanese version..the japanese one is totally the best! >_____<

RE: itazura na kiss
actually, i like them both,,
sadly the japanese version is only 9 eps (Takeshi Kashiwabara is totaly so cool),, but i think the taiwanese version can show more details of the story because it have many eps,, so it can clearly show us the story..
about the anime, i already watched it,, it feels that the plot is very fast, so i cannot enjoy it like the taiwanese version..
