RE: is korean a hard language to learn?
i think learning korean isn't that hard....

in terms of writing it it's much more easy to learn it unlike chinese or japanese...
in terms of saying it i think it's a little bit hard...

RE: is korean a hard language to learn?
Lol I think speaking Korean is quite easy..
I bought a book to learn Korean, and I can speak it a lot better than expected.
However.. When it comes to reading or writing, I find it to be a huge pain..
I know Cantonese and Japanese.. And I can write in Japanese and Cantonese.. And I find writing Kanjis a lot easier in my opinion.
The order of how the Korean letters are arranged is a pain for me to follow. lol

It seems hard... because of the guttural sounds and all.

I lost my way 2 days ago... then I met one old lady at the metro station and asked the way in Korean... RE: is korean a hard language to learn?
Korean writing might be hard because it's so different from Japanese and Chinese.
Speaking is probably the hardest if you're trying to pronounce it correctly.

RE: is korean a hard language to learn?
mm well... i went to a korean school for 9 years.. and i'm only at a 2nd grade levell T-T (started when i was 4 and finished when i was in 8th grade) =[

then again, i never really tried.. i stopped trying after 4th grade x)
or maybe the teachers were bad.. i dunno but i didn't learn much after 4th grade.. so yeah ><"

so.. i guess it is hard to learn. it depends on your will to learn it because i really didn't like going to korean school so i barely tried. ^^"
