Hello There, Guest! (Login — Register)
Lol I think speaking Korean is quite easy..
I bought a book to learn Korean, and I can speak it a lot better than expected.
However.. When it comes to reading or writing, I find it to be a huge pain..
I know Cantonese and Japanese.. And I can write in Japanese and Cantonese.. And I find writing Kanjis a lot easier in my opinion.
The order of how the Korean letters are arranged is a pain for me to follow. lol
Hi all, I'm Mongolian, who arrived here at the end of August, I'm keep learning Korean by myself.. I lost my way 2 days ago... then I met one old lady at the metro station and asked the way in Korean... I was using every word that I know... she understood me so well and helped me to find my way.. great experience! isn't it?
Korean writing might be hard because it's so different from Japanese and Chinese.
Speaking is probably the hardest if you're trying to pronounce it correctly.
mm well... i went to a korean school for 9 years.. and i'm only at a 2nd grade levell T-T (started when i was 4 and finished when i was in 8th grade) =[
then again, i never really tried.. i stopped trying after 4th grade x)
or maybe the teachers were bad.. i dunno but i didn't learn much after 4th grade.. so yeah ><"
so.. i guess it is hard to learn. it depends on your will to learn it because i really didn't like going to korean school so i barely tried. ^^"
