Hello There, Guest! (Login — Register)
Just wondering, is Japan a safe country to go to if you're going by yourself and you want to check out the night life? Are there any threats such as Yakuza, etc.
Even compared to small towns in the USA the crime rates in the most crime ridden city (Osaka) in japan the crime rates are lower than those in the small towns. So yes Japan is very safe as long as you avoid Yakuza (tatoos, cut fingertips, etc.)
From what i've heard crime rate is really low, who knows maybe it could have something to do with public executions or something, but most of my friends from Japan said that they have no problem walking around or going to the clubs, cept one of my friends said they saw this guy fighting a probable Yakuza member in this club... he just stayed out of it. But I did hear that you never mention them when youre there
