Just judging from how those languages sound, I think that japanese must be easier. (seems like a rather "clear" language to me)

for the writing systems
but their pronunciation is easier

Yea,Japanese is definitely easier to learn than Korean

i think it depends on the persons interest ..if you really want to learn the language by heart,it'll be easier...i started learning Korean but stopped because i want to learn mandarin first...but i think Hangul is much easier than Japanese and Chinese characters... the downside however is the pronunciation...

i've read from the previous post that Korean is harder than Japanese.And Korean is way difficult than Chinese..so good luck to me...hahaha!

Korean pronunciation I found very easy due to me singing korean songs mostly during my spare time. I have very good Korean pronunciation now and sound like a native speaker (according to many native korean speakers). Pronunciation in the Japanese language I found easier than Korean (since I learned some Japanese before Korean). When it comes to writing, Hangul alphabet is so much easier than Japanese writing system where you have to learn hiragana, katakana, kanji, and so on. Grammar, they have just the same type of grammar system as each other. Many people told me that Japanese is much easier to learn but I found Korean much more easier for me.

Korean is harder to learn than japanese as japanese language is abt 70% chinese language(if u know chinese).
Much easier for chinese spoken and reading people.
I have trouble learning japanese cos im not good at chinese.
And Im planning to took up korean.
